Derek Sivers, a psycho and imbecile.

Absolutely horrible that I always stumble upon such deranged and
decadent people. Obviously, he is extremely self-obsessed and
narcissistic, thinking that because at age seventeen he came up
with a philosophy that mirrors stoicism, it has to be correct.
Why? Philosophy is opinion; his TED talk about what life is was
stomach-turning. The stoics even allowed suicide. His view on religion
is absolutely skewed (he does not even distinguish between them!)
His site is all about himself. How much he works, how productive
he is and so on. He cannot stay in one place for long, is a nomad
basically. Well, this is a lifestyle one can only describe as vulgar,
it certainly does not build the societies he parasitically
profits from.
Further, taking life advice from someone who not only does not
understand what truth is, simply ignores the problem of evil (which
is what psychopaths would do) and even has a child out of wedlock …
is a bit rich. A little bit rich, I’d say. (He is also a stay at home
dad or so, which is a sign of decadence.)
Guys, you are not special, you are not smart or whatever you are
telling yourself. You will die and be forgotten. One may pardon a woman
who is in “love” with life, whatever that even means. Though someone who
is not only a man (or at least male) and wants to teach people
about such a fundamental and important question cannot be taken
seriously. Despite all their shortcomings, here Vox Day and Jay Dyer are
certainly spot-on regarding their criticism of atheists.
The one photo I found where he is smiling like a psychopath was kind of
off-putting. It may be true that socializing quickly exhausts him,
though this is where similarities end.
He also reads non-fiction mostly, as if this is something to be proud
of … and of course you do learn quite a bit by reading the great
classics. He may suffer from having a junk mind.
Just horrible that I usually only find people I really do not like much;
Andy Nowicki, so far, is the closest in terms of being a soulmate.
Mostly because of his anti-sex
position and melancholic temperament, which is already a lot, though, given
how rare this is.
Fellow introverted sufferer from Colombia, Don Colacho, says:
A philosophy that avoids the problem of evil is a fairy tale for
gullible children.
The simplistic ideas in which the unbeliever ends up believing
are his punishment.
Amusing books shame the illiterate.
Modern society neglects man’s basic problems, since it barely has
time to attend to those to which it gives rise.
It is fine to demand that the imbecile respect arts, letters,
philosophy, the sciences, but let him respect them in silence.
