Hookup is worse than pornography.
This is not a defence of pornography, though I find it overblown how it
is often used as one of the worst sexual sins there is. (I do not focus on
the abuse going on behind the scenes in this evil industry.)
The questions is, though, why does hookup never get rejected as much? Even Owen
Benjamin and others who have come to critize our decadent culture and even
became Christians still seem proud of their past “conquests”! Says Benjamin
(I’m paraphrasing; video got deleted off YouTube long ago): “… now … I
have hooked up with some women in the past that I did not know too
well […] not that I have regrets or anything but […]”
(He then adds how no one “misses” out by simply marrying instead. Though he
also critized tinder for being impersonal or so. “Clicking so hard” with
the girl in the pizza shop and then ending up in bed together was so much
better. Or whatever. Of course it’s both dung, because both is legalizing
fornication, which means allowing people to be ruled and feed on their base
desires.)
One should have regrets about such a lifestyle, though. Especially if one
is a Christian. There are other cases as well where people are still
thinking that having lived a promiscuous life style is somehow commendable
despite calling themselves “Catholic” now.
The difference is that the sexual decadence of pornographers — not the
material itself which, of course, is easily distributed globally — is
confined to a studio, done by actors who are paid for it.
“Hook up”, in contrast, is happening all around us (apparently);
legalized debauchery.
Why be such a sissy? Why not condemn both? Together, they are doing
horrible damage to society; however, fornication sometimes even results
in children. They then grow up maladjusted and mentally deranged, like
myself.
Further, you also enable dysgenics with your distasteful defence of your
repugnant sex obsession. Some even defend the “right” to marry a teen
as a fifty year old sleazy geezer. Maybe we should shoot the “Alt/New Right”
first, then the Left.
Either way, it seems as if even those who do not see themselves as “cucked”
(as they call it) are gamed, “cucked” by their lust, their base, animal desire.
Which is how it has always been seen, all the way back to the Ancients, not
to speak of Holy Scripture.
Such men lack self-respect, letting lust override and cloud their thinking,
controlling their behaviour.
Further, what remains after such a depraved and vulgar life? As
Schopenhauer writes, all that’s left of past pleasures is, at best,
the mummy of a memory. They don’t even recall in detail two or three of
the lewd women they abused.
The damage done to society, on the other hand, is real and calculable.
Worse if they have children who then grow up in a broken “family”.
Sexual promiscuity can be compared to someone smashing a bottle of
milk in a supermarket. One person doing it is already bad enough, though
now imagine if half of the customers started breaking things, littering
the floor. It is, then, almost impossible and rather sick and gross
to remain and do any business in there.
You guys simply have no right to force this dung onto me, and I hope
that better men start getting rid of you — in whatever way they see fit.
Let us also not forget that what attracts both men and women is nothing
noble. It is not good or high moral character. Often enough, the reason
people “fall in love”* has to do
with superficial and crass physical features. Therefore, it is not persons
with high value — e.g. men or women of God or earnest, honest people with
an upright character — who have the
“best chances”* of reproducing, but
those with better looks or more money. That men who are seen as “nice” or
harmless, innocent, guileless and so on are those who apparently are the
least wanted or sought after really shows us how sexuality is a
result of the Fall.
Not to mention that, as I wrote elsewhere,
some women are mentally ill, almost insane, despite being attractive.
Prone to being argumentative, even going so far as to lay down on tracks,
making a scene. What’s the point? Such a slave to your
base desires?
Why would I even care one bit about this sorry place if not for my faith,
my believe that we live forever and will be judged? Because otherwise, I
would have ended my existence long ago on my own.
Gómez Dávila puts it into place, as usual:
The importance it attributes to man is the enigma of Christianity.
Men can be divided into those who make their life complicated to
gain their soul and those who waste their soul to make their life easier.
Sex does not solve even sexual problems.
Sexual promiscuity is the tip society pays in order to
appease its slaves.
The problem is not sexual repression, nor sexual liberation,
but sex.
I have only one theme: pride.
Every stain is a vestige of it.
What is difficult is not to believe in God, but to believe that
we matter to Him.
