“Lust is so strong at [some arbitrary age].”

No, it isn’t. I have not noticed any change, and others did not either. Even when people, men especially, think that their lust diminished with age, it may simply be the effect of it wearing off. It becomes boring, maybe even unbearable, because this life is not meant to be lived for more than a few years, at best a decade.

nihil sub sole novum is a truism even taught by Holy Scripture, so I do not care one bit about those who deny it. There is nothing new under the sun, and there is not much to do for anyone.

Lust will be a problem even in old age, at best one will lack the stamina or willpower to act on it, but there are enough old men who still act like teenagers and are just as lustful.

If you do not feed the beast, no matter at what age, it will stop breathing, or at least go into a deep slumber.

Our Colombian friend knew:

Once youth is past, chastity forms a part not so much of ethics as of good taste.

Identical obsession, even when the symptoms are the opposite.

The problem is not sexual repression, nor sexual liberation, but sex.

It is impossible to convince the fool that there are pleasures superior to those we share with the rest of the animals.
