Mark Fisher as profound as Kierkegaard?

In Capitalist Realism, Fisher’s wife Zoe writes in the foreword (p. xxviii):

And yet, when all is said and done, and setting aside all questions of historical relevance, we have ultimately to heed the central argument of Mark’s masterpiece – which is at least as profound as anything in the philosophy of Kierkegaard, Hegel or Marx.

What is this? Why did she add Kierkegaard at all? One of the most brilliant thinkers; his depth is unmatched! He even broke off his engagement with Regine Olsen, while Fisher apparently even had a child with his wife Zoe, yet committed suicide!

This cannot be tolerated, to compare him with Kierkegaard is insane! I hate life, I want out of here!

Quoting Nicolás Gómez Dávila, a more profound thinker than Fisher, too:

Intellectual vulgarity depresses me more than bad news.

We should ask the majority of people not to be sincere, but mute.

In no previous age did the arts and letters enjoy greater popularity than in ours. Arts and letters have invaded the school, the press, and the almanacs.
No other age, however, has produced such ugly objects, nor dreamed such coarse dreams, nor adopted such sordid ideas.
It is said that the public is better educated. But one does not notice.

The majority of men have no right to give their opinion, but only to listen.
