Cage match between Marc Zuckerberg and Elon Musk: vulgarity nowadays knows no bounds.

It reminds me of a quote by Heidegger, who, in 1935, critically remarked:

“When the farthest corner of the globe has been conquered technologically and can be exploited economically; when any incident you like, in any place you like, at any time you like, becomes accessible as fast as you like; when you can simultaneously “experience” an assassination attempt against a king in France and a symphony concert in Tokyo; when time is nothing but speed, instantaneity, and simultaneity, and time as history have vanished from all Being of all peoples; when a boxer counts as the great man of a people; when the tallies of millions at mass meetings are a triumph; then, yes then, there still looms like a specter over all this uproar the question: what for?—where to?—and what then?”

Musk is an extremely vain person. Like his father, whom he hates; and just as sex-obsessed—Musk’s father had a child at the age of seventy — with his step-daughter (in her late twenties).

It is preposterous anyway that these clowns think we care about them; filthy rich, and not even close to being as brilliant as, say, Siemens or Diesel (not that I am much into technology). And the latter were behaving like men, not like teenage boys.

I think this is enough ego theatre now; someone should put an end to this. Alas, there are no men; certainly very few, and those they call alpha are simply addicted to sex, i. e. mentally ill.

Like Musk himself, who left triplets and twins for another woman, got divorced from one twice and copulated with two women at the same time. How low can you sink? He said something along the lines of “[t]his is a civilized form of war. Men like war.”

This, of course, is utter nonsense; just ask those who survived the World Wars. Most were pretty damaged, if not physically then mentally. Apart from the fact that someone who left his children should rather keep his mouth shut.

He apparently works a 120 hour week. Who believes this? I certainly do not, given how he lives his life.

This would be a good reason to commit suicide now, alas, God forces us to live in His horrible world.

Gómez Dávila would have had a field day:

“Wisdom, in this century, consists above all in knowing how to put up with vulgarity without becoming upset.”

“The modern world will not be punished.
It is the punishment.”
