The New Testament simply forces you to exist.

Even the New Testament, Christ Himself, gives us no answer as to why we ought to exist. No one asked Him either! That is how stupid man always was and will be — instead, they wanted Christ to divide inheritances (Luke 12:13)!

No wonder, then, that far from being “good” or, worse!, a “gift”, sex is actually a curse that God burdened man with. Otherwise, no one in his right mind would bring someone into this madhouse the world is. So He almost forces people to have children, given that only few, unfortunately, live or even want to live chaste lives.

C. S. Lewis wrote that the sex drive is way too strong in man. I add that it is also coupled with man’s ego, making it more of a repugnant mess than it already is.

The New Testament gives no answer as to why all of this exists, why we ought to live. You have to be a shallow person—a hedonist like Vox Day—to simply accept it. They are like children gorging on sweets, they cannot take a step back. Is this what God wants? Imbeciles? Maybe. But why, then, do I have to exist in this configuration full of psychological (and even physical!) suffering? I want out of here.

Nicolás Gómez Dávila:

Only the contemplation of the immediate saves us from tedium in this incomprehensible universe.
