The “sex” talk on the net, most likely, is result of demonic possession.

The oversexualized talk that is ripe especially on the internet is clearly satanic. Our whole culture, obviously, suffers from it. I cannot even count the many times I’ve now been subjected to reading about peoples’ intimate lives without my wish. Usually, I would read an interview or article about a subject unrelated to such matters (namely, obscene lewdness as found, e.g., on “game” sites).

Yet, often enough, you are forced to read about an author’s sexual escapades, or maybe the—usually young—men who take on an otherwise mature author start to derail and talk about it as crudely as you’d expect people on the internet to talk about such a subject.

Once I started to “detox” from most such content—which also entails staying away from even “innocent” blogs concerned with politics or philosophy, where such filth creeps in all too often—, I did feel better. Just a little bit, but that’s quite a lot, given how decadent and deranged our society is anyway.

I therefore conclude that everyone who fuels this “alpha” or “sexsexsex” or “this is how you can live life like a vulgar, degenerate fornicator, just like me!” talk is, in whatever way, doing Satan’s work, maybe such people are even possessed by an evil demon. Andy Nowicki, as usual, is the only author who at least seems to think in a similar fashion (cf. his Ravages of the “Rough Beast”).

All the more reason for everyone who calls himself a Christian to stop doing it. The reason the topic of sexuality must not be discussed in such a cheap manner has been explained better than I ever could by Chesterton.

After all, I only have to endure this horrid existence because of this degrading drive that I still cannot reconcile with the purity of God, Heaven, the Angels and so on. It is, indeed, a slap in the face that should at least give us pause, as Nowicki wrote in Considering Suicide.

Nicolás Gómez Dávila was a mature man, too, given that he did not think highly of sexuality despite having been married for almost sixty years and having had three children (one daughter, two sons):

In the end, there is no area of the soul sex would not succeed in corrupting.

It is above all against what the crowd proclaims to be “natural” that the noble soul rebels.

The 19th century did not live with more anguish because of its sexual repression than the 20th century with its sexual liberation.
Identical obsession, even when the symptoms are the opposite.

Sensuality is a cultural legacy of the ancient world.
Societies where the Greco-Roman legacy is being wiped out, or where it does not exist, only know sentimentalism and sexuality.

To liberate man is to subject him to greed and sex.

Eroticism, sensuality, and love, when they do not converge in the same person, are nothing more, in isolation, than a disease, a vice, and foolishness.
