Vox Day errs on romantic love and women.
It seems as if he thought that the second paragraph was Langan’s comment, too:
voxday.net/2024/08/11/a-backhanded-compliment
The thing is that what he writes is a lie. His wife is intelligent, as
he told Jesse L. Peterson in his show. (What Does It Mean to Have High IQ?
Vox Day, Christian Alt-Right Writer on Trump, Putin, Brexit, SJWs.)
His son is a mathematician, as he once said on a Darsktream (I don’t remember
which one.) Since intelligence is hereditary to a high degree, his wife
certainly does not have an IQ of 75.
Not only is IQ hereditary, a mother with an IQ of 120 would most likely
do a better job at raising children. It is highly questionable that
there is no difference between a woman with IQ 75 and 120. With
exceptions like drug addiction, someone with an IQ of 120 may be more
capable in handling everyday life.
What’s worse, though, is that Langan is simply smarter. Way smarter.
I don’t believe Langan would accept Vox Day lecturing him on such
matters. And why would he? In this interview, he says that he finds
intelligence important in a woman, sexy even (around 02:07:50):
Chris Langan: The Most In-Depth Interview with the World’s Smartest Man
My transcription from around 02:08:16 to 02:09:00:
I got myself a very intelligent woman. Beautiful, too. […]
I have always been attracted to intelligent women. To me,
intelligence is sexy. It makes a woman more of a woman. Not that
a woman who is not so intelligent can’t be sexy. That’s far from
the case, but it is always something to which I was attracted in a
female. So, this is one of the reasons that I held out for her. I was
single for most of my life, up until I was about nearly fifty years
old.
So-called assortative mating might be at work in most cases
anyway, except for extreme cases of lasciviousness (i.e., Vox Day’s?)
He then gets asked about his vices, talking about his hot temper.
According to Vox Day, alphas and sigmas are the
opposite. I rather think that this is hogwash anyway; what some
call ZFG—“zero f*cks given”—almost seems psychopathic.
Vox Day once even suspected that he might exhibit
psychopathic traits
It is simply a stupid century, a horrible time to be alive. This
degeneracy would not have been allowed to be published anyway. People
did not openly talk about happy relationships, which already
implies an ungodly, promiscuous lifestyle.
All in all, I think this has finished it for me. I mean, since Vox Day
needs to accept Langan as his intellectual superior, as he likes
to say, there is little reason to think that Langan errs regarding
his preference for intelligent women. I remember reading that his wife
Gina has an IQ of around 168.
So she is Vox Day’s intellectual superior, too.
This world only exists because God the Father forces us to live, which
includes our disgusting origins – a slap in the face, as Andy
Nowicki called it in his
Considering Suicide
He says he was tested, which is why he claims that he is highly empathetic.
The fact that this sounds insane is because he knows that he appears as if he is a
psychopath. Even his children told him his advice often sounds as if he is a
sociopath.
The average person understands being empathetic to be someone who cares
about other people. Vox Day, on the other hand, claims it means he is able to read
people’s emotions, while not caring about them.
This is not what being “empathetic” means. God cared about man, for example, which
is why He became man. Not sure who Vox Day is trying to fool here, but this, again,
is where he greatly errs.
He has influence, which is why people need to be able to criticize this. That he
introduced the term sigma may or may not be the case – it just shows how
stupid people are to take this seriously. It’s as if one may claim to be important
because one has had influence as a pop musician. No, such influence is not only
unimportant, it is bad, if not evil influence.
Since I never had interest in such deranged topics like his
socio-sexual hierarchy, which is a kind of revenge of
those without importance against those who are – after all, Vox Day’s IQ alone is
nothing impressive in itself. However, he can now claim that thinker A or
writer B was really a gamma. As if I care what “rank” geniuses were in
his laughable hierarchy.
It’s as if one claims to be more athletic than some great composer – who cares!
We don’t.
In his
Darkstream: The Price of Gatekeeping - Vox Day Darkstream 1143
he claims that Clayton Atreus
was a kind of gamma! That is insane. Given that Atreus, as annoying this
guy was, got into fights, had many women and so on. Since Gammas are
repulsive to women, as Vox Day claims, how can this be?
Only if this “hierarchy” is actually nothing but psycho-babble by someone
who knows he seems like a nerd to people but wants to be a “tough guy”.
Which is why he not only brags about his past “conquests” and how tall
all the women were he “dated”—“dating” did not exist in Christendom—,
but also trained in a “dojo”.
This is subjective, like almost all of psychology. We are not talking
about mechanical engineering here. Which is why everyone has his own
idea of what these ranks are to mean.
He admits to being very much asocial, living alone, even his wife is seen
as a “lone wolf” where he lives – his wife even said that the social
contacts he has are almost forced upon Vox Day.
In the Darkstream
A Spiral of Sigmas - VoxDay Darkstream 1.17.24 Sub 2 Vox’s new stack https://sigmagame.substack.com/,
he derided
Eric S. Raymond (esr)
for writing he’s a natural alpha. It’s also brilliant how, in this
Darkstream, accuses people of narcissism, as if his own idea of this stuff
is objective and not mired by his own ego. Even go so far as to defining
what “top tier”, or even “tier two or tier three” women are.
Vox Day: this is lust, it is irrational, it is subjective. There is no
objective beauty standard. This is laughable, he really thinks we are
all lusting after the women he likes.
In his substack, a he commented that he peaked at the age of twenty-three.
He drove a Porsche at twenty-one. With money made from pop music?
He also claims that this is applicable to past societies, even as far back
as ancient Greece. He just reads this into it, thinking that in the past,
status could be “acquired”. No. As I wrote earlier, status was passed
down to you. And then it did not matter if you were a “gamma” or “alpha”
in behaviour. After all, who cared about a peasant with alpha traits?
That the word sigma is not naturally cool or gamma naturally lame term is
irrelevant. “Gay” has been hijacked as well – unlike gamma, homosexuals
called themselves gay. Gamma, on the other hand, has been used in an insulting
way right from the start.
It is also wrong to say they have “come” to be cool or negative because of
what they are being used to describe. To which I reply, no, it is your subjective
value you attach to such behaviour. As I wrote above, not taking off your
sunglasses is rude and is seen as negative.
Language does not work this way anyway, since the media did not exist in the
past. A Luther and Goethe had more influence on language than such geniuses
could have today. Jose Mourinho would be a gamma, not a sigma. He is
living in a fantasy world.
What then follows regarding women in college and how this affects marriage
rates seems to be correct, especially the bit that intelligence by itself
is not valued as much as a college education. However, saying intelligence
does not turn you into a better person is wrong. After all, being athletic
and good-looking makes you popular, but does not turn you into a better
person either. It may be worse, being popular could fuel your ego.
In some other Darkstream on the @JudeoChrist channel, Vox Day said Raymond
wrote getting IOIs—“indicators of interest”, stupid internet lingo—from
women when he is in a restaurant. To which VD replied that they may simply
think he may give them a tip (or so), since they are not interested in his
“small programmer ass”.
But why wouldn’t they? If Vox Day did not lack for attention of highly
attractive women—in his eyes—starting at age sixteen, then why not
Raymond, too? After all, Vox Day is around 176 centimeters tall and not
a Cary Grant either. In VD’s hierarchy, esr may then be a sigma.
But even here, Vox Day is, again, blind to reality. After all, the women
Raymond met at science fiction conventions and renaissance fairs are more
likely to be higher IQ than women one finds in bars. Yet, if IQ is
hereditary and important, it is such women who should have more children.
It’s not as if most models are members of Mensa or the Triple Nine
Society.
In some other Darkstream, he said he met an alpha once, whose wife,
while attractive, was not as attractive as his … This guy wanted Vox Day
to take off his sunglasses, since he does not like not being able to see
people’s eyes. To which Vox Day simply replied with a “no”.
Which means that all this hierarchy nonsense is about being impolite, rude
and simply childish. He’d say, obviously, it’s about dominance, yet in
a civilization, you don’t need this. You can’t have your cake and eat
it, too: you either have a civilization, which includes good breeding,
or you have to put up with the law of the jungle and other nonsense.
The reason one critiques this is that it’s childish to call people names,
and gamma or nerd or whatever is just that. Argue the issue at hand and
stop throwing such terms around, which is nothing but rhetoric.
Maybe the reason people react in such a hostile manner to Vox Day
specifically is his arrogance. VD also often forgets to stress that
it’s fractal in nature.
Funnily enough, though, Owen Benjamin said he is the textbook alpha male,
while Vox Day calls him a “bravo”. So it’s chaotic and subjective and
just awful idiocy people obsessing about money and women force on all
people – even as far back as Ancient Athens!
While Vox Day is also a Christian and did great work on attacking the
“New Atheists” and SJWs, this side of him is tiring and annoying.
Especially since Chris Langan is even four standard deviations above
Vox Day’s IQ and way less of an idiot in this regard.
Some of us simply don’t care; I am more in awe of great geniuses, I don’t
care at all what a Goethe or Dante is in Vox Day’s unimportant hierarchy,
which is just a way for the intellectual unimportant to take revenge on
brilliant geniuses. After all, it is of no importance if Beethoven or
Bruckner were gammas. They were geniuses.
On his sigmagame substack, Vox Day claims that Nietzsche was a gamma, a man
with no accomplishments of note who was repulsive to women! This is insane – in
another post about his AI music, he writes that less people are willing to support
him in this endeavor, that most people don’t care about this, or don’t have the
knowledge to truly understand his music.
Now, pop music is just pop music. It was a post about confidence; that one
ought not to put too much weight on people’s judgement. Even those who
understood that it was an achievement to be signed on the record label he
was signed on – a gay label …? – and to play on First Avenue. (Who cares?)
Now the obvious question: how is it not an achievement to become the youngest
professor in Germany at a time when educational standards were much, much higher
than today – but decadent pop music is?
Of course,
Filotto
hates Schopenhauer just like Vox Day does. Vox Day calls him a gamma – yawn – and
that he wanted women out of his league – thinking that such matters are not
irrational and driven by lust. There is no league, no thinking involved here.
He also consulted Wikipedia for Schopenhauer’s biography. Is he serious? He thought
Schopenhauer was not fluent in a language he wanted to translate from, which is
not the case.
Schopenhauer was one of the most brilliant writers in the German language.
Tolstoy also read him. It rather seems to me that Vox Day’s thinking is clouded
by his sex obsession. He ended his immature and laughable blogpost with “never
take any advice from someone who failed at life.”
Failed at life: now that’s one of the stupidest, crudest phrases
to use. Interestingly enough, Bruce Charlton also rejects this
socio-sexual hierarchy inanity, and Charlton, while understanding
Nietzsche’s negative influence, does not dismiss him in the same immature
and childish manner Vox Day did.
Filotto apparently had been saying for twenty years that no one ought
to pay any attention to Schopenhauer. No, Kurgan: no one should
pay attention to your trash. Giuseppe “Ludwig Denzinger” Filotto is
a joke and will always be one, he is not an intellectually serious
author and jealous of authors who were verbally a thousand times more
gifted.
This socio-sexual hierarchy drags it all to their level, reduces it to sex, almost
Freudian.
From his blog post
Why They Take the Ticket:
That is why I always find it mystifying when people claim that I am
jealous of the likes of John Scalzi, Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro,
or Steven Crowser. Because you literally could not pay me to take
their place.
Yet, he does not understand it that there are men who have other interests
than women, status, money, sports. Imagine that! Who long for different times,
mostly reading books, especially old books. Of past times where manners and
decency existed, scholars existed who deserved being called scholars.
He would not accept it. We are all jealous of NFL players. This is insanity.
You apparently are a “gamma” loser by wanting a return to such times – when
promiscuity was shunned, {RintellectualL} was an insult and educated men were
few, and those few knew Latin and Greek.
Whatever, I guess. As Bruce Charlton wrote about him in a
blogpost
about creepy
Miles Mathiso
(whom he does not really like much either):
"MM is dangerous" - but Everybody is "dangerous" in that sense, including
VD who is wildly mistaken about many things (I am speaking as someone who
likes and appreciates VD, with whom I have corresponded at times).
In this video titled
War in Iran, Veriphysics, Book Blocks - Vox Day Darkstream 1272
(around 24 minutes), he wastes time talking about why he used an older
picture of his—his “prime”—and that once old, everybody looks the
same.
It’s further proof of Vox Day’s vanity and superficiality. I don’t even take
photographs of myself. There is none of Kierkegaard either. To be as concerned
of your appearance is effeminate. Just ridiculous. Who cares?
It explains his shallow world-view, as well as his
“hierarchy”.
In one Darkstream, he once answered that Hitler may have had gamma
traits, but he was also a brave soldier who got the Iron Cross
(first class) that only around 230,000 soldiers of sixteen million were
able to claim.
Adding that such important historic persons cannot really be classified
using the hierarchy.
Yet, he childishly called geniuses like Schopenhauer and Nietzsche gammas,
as I wrote above. Even saying Nietzsche had no real accomplishments! I still
cannot believe this.
Vox Day was part of some deranged pop music group playing on First
Avenue.
It’s vulgar pop culture, which we ought to reject. He knows himself that the
labels are buying your band into the billboard charts.
Further, Schopenhauer learnt Latin in Greek at age nineteen in just 1.5 years,
he got a doctorate in philosophy at age twenty-five and published the first
volume of hist magnum opus at age thirty, which was later read and praised by
many brilliant people, including not only Nietzsche, but, for example, Tolstoy
as well.
Nietzsche was professor at age twenty-four already! Was praised as best
pupil in Latin and Greek at Schulpforta, an elite school which
Klopstock, Fichte and Hölderlin once attended.
He was also a brilliant pianist with good manners – one reason why many of
his friends could not believe that he authored such works.
Further, Vox Day’s Sigma Game, his socio-sexual hierarchy
is not even able to explain why someone like Klaus Kinski had so many women,
even an Italian model of 18/19 years of age when he was already sixty.
Kinski was prone to violent outbursts, even at this age with his Italian
model present.
Kinski was a disgusting person, he even abused his daughters. Yet, why would
he care what “rank” he is – certainly a “gamma” –, given that he was
able to wallow in degeneracy at age sixty with an Italian model forty years
his junior?
His status as an actor is of no importance here, because his behaviour is not
what he’d describe as alpha or sigma, the latter most likely being
sociopaths.
He recently called most people sloppy thinkers, yet he is the one
who once wrote sex is natural, sex is good or that your very
existence is a gift. The latter being illogical, since no one is there
to receive it. It’s subjective mush anyway. I’ve written enough on here why
his view is incorrect.
When it comes to composers, Bruckner and Beethoven were life-long bachelors;
Wagner and Beethoven had a temper and so on. It’s just a crude and overly
simplistic system reducing everything to attractiveness – just like Freud
reduced it all to sexuality.
Vox Day acts as if he is an objective observer, he knows who’s “hot” and
worthy of praise … This has to be a joke.
In the end, this “hierarchy” is a way for Vox Day to puff himself up even
above geniuses that a Tolstoy praised. You cannot, with a straight face, really
mean it.
Someone wrote we’d envy him because he has a house in Switzerland, where
property prices are high.
No. What you need to understand is that I don’t envy anyone living
in today’s world, or the 20th century, for that matter. Apart from Nicolás
Gómez Dávila maybe; though as he wrote himself:
Modern man’s misfortune lies not in having to live a mediocre life, but
in believing that he could live a life that is not mediocre.
I may envy Jacob Burckhardt, a true genius, or other greats of past times.
And even then, I don’t like life and don’t have to. The Bible does not
teach it; Jeremiah cursed his birth as did Job.
Further, I’d rather end my life, but God forces man to live in this awful
world. Vox Day, on the other hand, wants to be envied. He needs it.
Who wants to play some sport against a team that is forced to play?
A team that simply drags along and is glad when the game is over, no matter
if they won?
That’s how I feel about existence. I don’t care and don’t like life. Full stop.
In the Darkstream #1275 (around the 2:00 minute mark), he even admits that
his Sigma Game book is the least important of his recent endeavors.
The other two being a kind of AI-generated philosophy called veriphysics
as well as his work on showing that the theory of evolution via natural
selection is mathematically impossible.
I have nothing against the last two, except that I don’t see how it’s that
important. First off, you don’t win people over by arguing, and even those
who are equipped to understand the mathematics of it will not change their
minds if they are atheist.
I was not an atheist because I lacked proof of God, which even now as a Christian
I don’t take very seriously. I wanted to end my life, a God who’d judge me for
it was a monstrosity – and I still think it’s tough to having to believe this.
Though being born-again simply forces you to accept it.
Regarding philosophy, I rather read Plato, Schopenhauer or Heidegger; or Pascal
and Kierkegaard for deep Christian philosophy.
At the 32 minute mark, he says that only three thousand people died on
9/11, while around fifty thousand worked there, adding that these false
flags are less cataclysmic than they are portrayed.
Yet, this shows his psychopathic traits again. He simply does not care that
more than thousand people were trapped at dizzying heights. Some even jumped
to their deaths – around ten seconds in the air. They splat like a ripe
tomato, as Doug Eisler described it.
It should also be noted that a lot more people died in the aftermath due
to the contaminated air.
On Sigma Game, there is another pompous post titled
You Will Be Judged,
where he makes negative comments about some random guy pictured with
a woman.
Bascially writing that this guy is a loser and the woman not even
that hot … Yet she is not overweight, for example, showing that
I am correct in saying that they will always find something they
use to nag you. Like a woman …
You cannot satisfy them, except if your wife happens to match their own
criteria for what they think is “hot”. This is imbecilic and one of the
first topics I wrote about.
There is no point in engaging with this stuff further. Someone who thinks
his own subjective standards are objective, who tells us whom we have to
find attractive … is simply deluded in this regard.
I remember the wicked
jim.com
boomer writing that Vox Day does not understand women, which makes this
whole charade of men writing blogs trying to prove that they have it
even more laughable.
A Dante, Shakespeare, Goethe or Jacob Burckhardt would never have wasted
ink on such juvenile stuff. They would hardly told their readers which
woman to find attractive.
Notice the Sigma Game post subtitle Like it or not, your partner
helps define your status.
Well, why would we care? If you’re happy with your wife or husband, how
would this matter? He even commented negatively on Tolkien’s wife. This
is even further removed from reality.
Imagine this, Vox Day: I don’t care about existence or my own life, I
live because I became a Christian at age thirty. I tried to hang myself
at age twenty-three and would do it again were I still an atheist.
Life is awful trash, and I only am forced to live because we need to fear
eternal damnation. Holy Scripture is full of threats, most likely to get
people as far away from suicide as possible, given how even in the Old
Testament, Job cursed his birth, as did Jeremiah, who was chosen prior
to his birth even!
Paul, too, wanted to be in Heaven already (Phil. 1:21-23).
Why not face it? No one cares about sigma men. As if I’d throw away my
collected works of Goethe or some other great author because Vox Day decides
to label him with his simplistic hierarchy.
He puts himself above geniuses. For example, Nietzsche was friends with
Wagner, who apparently was too stupid to not see that Nietzsche, in Vox
Day’s words, was a lunatic.
There have always been conflicts and polemical attacks among men of high
intellectual calibre. Vox Day, though, took it to another level and
invented his own hierarchy; putting himself – of course … – at the
top … because women like him more than authors he hates for some
reason.
Authors who, often enough, are long dead anyway …
Yet, he acknowledges that great historic personalities like Hitler – whom
he got asked about – cannot really be identified with his
socio-sexual hierarchy.
I tried to like Vox Day, but this stuff is too tacky, too corny, even
Bruce Charlton rejects this. All great minds would have.
Life itself is awful enough to experience … but the times I am forced to
live in? What a punishment!
Nicolás Gómez Dávila knew:
The modern world will not be punished.
It is the punishment.
In a video with Owen Benjamin titled
#2372 33 Mile Featuring Sleezy-E, The Most Dangerous Thought In The World & Vox
Day Breaks Down Science’s Greatest Lie Yet,
Owen Benjamin admits having been addicted to sex (around 01:09:00), and, worse,
Vox Day then goes on to say—talking about the holier-than-thou kind of
Christians—that, I paraphrase, the fat ugly guy goes on to say that I’m not
promiscuous, and Vox Day adds: “you never had to turn down a ten”.
Somewhat prior to this (1:05:40), he remarked that his wife once said “I cannot
tell anyone that” in regards to people being surprised about a guy turning out
as a serial killer. Which strengthens my suspicion that he has psychopathic
traits which are also conducive, maybe even necessary, to live a promiscuous life.
(He does not even know if someone never had to turn down a so-called “ten”.)
After all,
Filotto
as well as Owen Benjamin seem somewhat psychopathic, too, and certainly are bullies.
What follows is Owen Benjamin talking about having people sending him nude
pictures with their phone numbers, adding “You don’t know what that’s like”.
Somewhat prior to this, Vox Day also said that gluttony was never an issue
for him. Yet, he gained some weight as opposed to his former years. His father,
certainly, had been overweight at some point.
It’s also insane that Owen Benjamin claims that sin is sin, joking about
stuffing cookies into one’s mouth while saying I’m not murdering people or
so.
Murder, obviously, is a sin that’s way worse. Even the Catholic Church
grades sin. One cannot even take this seriously anymore, it’s comical.
More importantly, though, they both don’t understand that our
origins are a slap
in the face, and that their tens are not everyone’s;
this is not objective.
And it would not tempt me, no matter how I looked—especially since weight is not
that important for women. They are not as visual as men are, and Vox Day even admitted
that in 1989 or so, when he was at a private meeting with Kissinger and Trump due to
his girlfriend having been the daughter of a politician in Minnesota, all women flocked
around Kissinger. The uglies man in the room.
This life, this world is like people forcing you to join a sport or activity you
loathe, but you have to comply. After all, I would simply end my life were I not
a Christiand, and I tried to hang myself at the age of twenty-three. I never thought,
back then being an atheist, that a woman would solve any of my problems.
This shows that there is a gap here that cannot be bridged. Maybe it’s also
due to them being Americans and part Anglosaxon. I was always, even now as a
Christian, repulsed by the way we enter the world, the mechanics of it, and the
stupidity of life itself.
You guys simply don’t have it, and appear rather crude and superficial because
of it. Yes, I would not want anything to do with Claudia Schiffer, even if she
were standing on my door step right now.
I simply want my life to end, because I hate it. I hate this world. I find
it stupid, disgusting, ridiculous.
But guys like Owen Benjamin and Vox Day need others to puff themselves up.
They know neither Latin nor Greek, yet want to act as if they should be taken
seriously.
God forces me to live, because He knows how many people would exit this
sorry place had they permission as well as easier means. Because it’s clear
that having children is way easier than killing yourself in a humane manner.
Not to mention that Owen Benjamin ended his interview with Tucker Carlson
by claiming that this world (!!!) and life is a gift.
He also said that he sees suicide as the worst sin (like Chesterton basically.)
Because, I paraphrase, “you were created, given all this gift” and then throw
it away like a meal lovingly prepared by your wife. Which is not a fitting
analogy. What about Joseph Merrick, also known as the Elephant Man?
It’s always frustrating when people project their own love of life onto
others and the whole world. Almost no one would have wanted to be Joseph
Merrick.
This world is fallen, it is wicked, God will destroy it. I don’t have to like
any of it, nor my life, which is not a gift, and the Bible never teaches this.
Even Dickie Dawkins thinks that life is a gift. It’s a stupid, sloppy way of
thinking.
What I found likeable was Vox Day answering Benjamin’s question if he knew what
he’d do with a billion dollar, answering he’d buy up and restore old Churches and
Castles, and further do the same for buildings what he already did for books with
his leather bindings via Castalia House.
Vox Day also does not seem to understand that his not being able to turn down his
tens is just the same as a glutton not being able to turn down a donut. However,
as Andy Nowicki already noted in either
Confessions of a Would-Be Wanker
or
Notes Before Death,
they always attach pride to it.
Vox Day does not understand that some people don’t want to live, that
they reject this world, that everyone is only able to judge his own life,
not somebody else’s. He simply does not have it in him, he cannot see the
world this way. A way shared by many great men of the past – even Goethe never
had three weeks in his life where he was happy.
It’s quite simple: we are forced to live, the drive that got us here is
disgusting and a slap in the face; it’s so prevalent to be ridiculous,
basically a curse from God,
as if He wanted to show us that man is closer to animals than the angels.
Logically,
God then needs to disallow suicide and make it really hard and repugnant,
so that even
those who want to end their life often survive – horribly maimed at times.
That sex is a curse I already wrote about; the Bible is very clear on this. It
should give us pause that God Himself rejects Vox Day’s view on it. Further,
leftists are obsessed with it and are the ones who push the most obscene forms
of it. Vox Day is not a thinker on par with Nietzsche or Schopenhauer here, which
is why he rejected them in a very juvenile manner on his sigma game substack.
Weininger and Kierkegaard were deeper, too. It’s over; you cannot claim to
have any deep insights here, certainly nothing rivaling the thinkers mentioned.
The only contemporary whom I found refreshing in this regard is Andy Nowicki
(at least in the works—as well as a few others—mentioned above.)
I know of no author of worth who bragged about his wife or the women he knew
intimately. It’s another reason this world is to be rejected, and this age
anyway.
My only wish is for this life to end. I would never have chosen it. Full stop.
Closing the book with Don Colacho:
A high “intelligence quotient” is indication of distinguished
mediocrity.
The imbecile does not discover the radical misery of our condition
except when he is sick, poor, or old.
The problem is not sexual repression, nor sexual liberation,
but sex.
In the end, there is no area of the soul sex would not succeed in
corrupting.
Sins that appear “splendid” from afar are from close up nothing
more than small sordid episodes.
It is not worth talking about even one erotic topic with someone
who does not feel the unalterable baseness of erotism.
It is above all against what the crowd proclaims to be “natural” that
the noble soul rebels.
What we discover as we age is not the vanity of everything,
but of almost everything.
Despite what is taught today, easy sex does not solve
every problem.
By merely looking at the face of the modern man one
infers the mistake in attributing ethical importance to
his sexual behavior.
Modern man’s life oscillates between two poles: business
and sex.
